As a firm, COOL Sarl is based in La Voulte-sur-Rhône (in the Ardèche department of France). We make use of all of our experience and know-how to provide you with solutions that have been adapted to your requirements. These might be related to your cold supply chain issues, for example, as well in the field of health (such as hygiene services, private or state-run laboratories, hospitals, etc.) or that of the food supply trade (such as caterers, food distribution businesses, CHRs, food-producing collectives, and so on).
Specialising in the design and manufacture of Phase Change Materials, COOL Sarl has developed a complete range of cold storage accumulators which, combined with our high-performance isothermal packaging, constitute truly autonomous isothermal devices.
Our isothermal devices respond to any packaging, transport and storage problem with a constant controlled temperature right up to the last kilometre.
Unique expertise: Know-how with Phase Change Materials (or eutectic liquids)
Eutectic liquids are fluids that, once solidified, restore a cold temperature at a constant level as they melt, something that is known as eutexia. We offer cold packs with different eutectic liquids that provide either positive or negative melting points.
COOL sarl has its own thermal metrology laboratory which allows us to pre-qualify any custom or standard insulating device so that we can establish fully that it will meet your temperature conservation objectives.
As a result of our mastery of phase change materials, particularly with the design and manufacture of a wide range of cold accumulators (in plates or pouches), we were prompted to also design a professional insulated packaging solution.
All these insulating materials - expanded polypropylene (PPE), expanded polystyrene (PSE) and polyurethane (PU) - can be made use of to create your own cold supply chain product.
COOL sarl favours reusable isothermal devices to respond to cold supply chain issues that are part of a sustainable development strategy since these do not require the systematic use of a refrigerated truck.
Since 2017, COOL sarl has been turning to a new range of applications, in particular with the development of solar cooling systems (true "eutectic cells"). Such devices make use of our phase change materials for even temperature storage while offering energy savings.
